Crewe Alexandra football Club will be hosting a rail and transport collectors fair on Saturday 22nd June 2024. A wide variety of treasures will be available including railway postcards. 10am until 3pm admission £2. Enquiries to Oliver Hambly 07787 258211.

This popular fair has been rescued by Rod and James Ltd. The next will be at Burton on Trent Town Hall on Saturday 9th March 2024.

The venue is a short walk from the station and is easy to find from the A38 with local parking. Postcard traders will be in attendance.

The other 2024 fair will be on 5th October.

The Carnforth dates for 2020 are now available. Sunday 31st May and Sunday 16th August. (9.30am until 2pm). The May date has been changed to avoid a clash with an event at the Crewe Heritage Centre on 16th May. The station is well worth a visit most days with its museum, shop and restaurant. The shop and restaurant sell postcards related to the station. The fair sees the main platform occupied by a variety of stall holders selling railwayana, model railways and even postcards!
